Since the beginning of the financial crisis in 2008, bankers have increasingly  come under public scrutiny, receiving harsh criticism and inviting moral outrage over a seemingly unapologetic display of reckless greed. Yet, the more these players of the financial sector are closely and critically watched, the less they seem to have points of contact with the majority of people outside their closed-off world. Photographed in the financial metropolises Frankfurt, Paris, London and New York, "Das Geld der Anderen" gives an insight into this world and reflects the self-perception of a controversial but highly influential industry.
